Role: Motion Design & Illustrator

Description: For this brief we were tasked to create a video to inform viewers/users about the Spotify Blend feature, what it does and how to create a Spotify Blend in their app. I followed Spotify's brand guidelines, while expanding their color pallet with their Spotify Wrapped 2024 color pallet. I used After Effects and Illustrator to create these collaterals.

Workflow

When creating my work, I tried to be consistent with the visual direction Spotify uses in their works. I made sure that the illustrations have rounded ends as Spotify rounds all their corners. When I took inspiration from their Spotify Wrapped 2024 designs I created visual flares that would be similar to what they used, with the pixeled lines, long tubes, and running up and down motions.
